	<title>Credit Counseling Agencies</title>
	<description>

Credit counseling agencies are the best resource for all of the information that you will need to make the best choice of debt relief program for you. They are clearinghouses of information that were designed to help consumers like us find the best way to get out the debt that they have incurred. But, not all credit counseling agencies are the same, so even here you have to do a bit of research before you decide on the one that you will go to for your informational needs.

The benefit of non-profit
You should try and concentrate on those credit counseling agencies that are non-profit because they do not make their money off of the consumers, but rather off of the creditors! So, you will not be expected to shell out one red cent for the information that you get from a not for profit credit counseling agency. They were designed to help all consumers get the right information about the types of programs that are available and which of them would benefit you most. It can really make a world of difference when you have knowledgeable and experienced staff working with you and for you to guide you to the place that you want to be.

Although you can get all of the information that you need from credit counseling agencies without being charged for it, you can also turn to them for the programs that might help you. When and if you do decide to enroll in one of their programs after you have received some credit counseling only then will they ask for a nominal, and often times only suggested, fee. One that will not break your accounts and that you will feel good about because of all that you get in return.
